Gas Powertrains

There are two available EcoBoost® engines: the 1.5L and the 2.0L. Both engines combine turbocharging, direct injection and twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT) to help enhance performance and efficiency.* The Fusion S comes standard with a 2.5L Duratec® I-4 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Explorer Limited Hybrid is the only Hybrid in its class that can tow 5,000 pounds* and it's also fully off-road capable. The rear-wheel-drive model also offers more miles traveled between fill-ups with the 3.3L Hybrid Engine.
